The seller of every order is KEEP MOMENTS LTD, and every invoice or receipt for an order is issued by KEEP MOMENTS LTD. KEEP MOMENTS LTD is not VAT-registered, no VAT is charged, and no VAT is added or shown: our invoices and receipts carry no VAT line and no VAT amount, and you are never charged VAT.
No VAT applies because of the nature of what we make. Each piece is a bespoke memorial item produced from material that you consign to us, and each piece is an individually made one-off: a unique, 1-of-1 (1/1) object made to your specific instructions from your own consigned material. This combination, a bespoke product made from customer-consigned material with each piece unique 1/1, is the basis on which no VAT is charged.
A plain stock accessory sold on its own, with no consigned material and no personalization (for example, an extra chain), is a standard product, and no blanket VAT exemption is claimed for such an item. Any sales or use tax, customs duty, or import charge that may apply to a cross-border delivery is handled under the applicable rules and indicated, where relevant, at checkout.
