Before You Order
Which materials do you accept?
We work with ashes, hair, fur, fingerprints, handwriting, and pawprints. Each of these can be set into your chosen piece, sealed within the metal, and carried with you always. If you are unsure whether your material is suitable, please do not hesitate to contact us before placing your order.
How much material do I need to send?
For ashes, approximately five grams is sufficient for most pieces. For hair or fur, a lock of around four centimetres is enough. Fingerprint or handwriting impressions are captured during the ordering process, so no physical sample is required for those. We will guide you clearly at every step.
What if I only have a very small amount of ashes?
Even a very small quantity is often sufficient. Please contact us before ordering so we can advise you on which pieces are possible and ensure nothing is wasted or lost. Every trace is treated with the utmost care.
What metals and finishes are available?
We work with 925 sterling silver, 24-carat gold plating, rose gold plating, and solid 14-carat or 18-carat gold. The right choice depends on your piece and your preference. Each option carries the same standard of craftsmanship.
Can I add an engraving?
Yes. A name, a date, a word that belongs only to you and the one you carry, pressed into the metal by hand. Personalisation options are shown during the ordering process.
After Your Order
How does the process work once I have placed my order?
After your order is confirmed, we send you a prepaid shipping label and a small, secure container for your materials. Once we receive them, your materials are registered in our atelier with a unique reference code and never leave our care. We update you at each stage of production, from the first forming of the stone to Kasia's personal inspection before dispatch.
How long does production take?
Our standard production time is approximately ten weeks from the date we receive your materials. Each piece is made by hand and passes through multiple stages of quality control, so we ask for your patience. We will keep you informed throughout.
What happens to any materials that are not used?
Any unused ashes, hair, or fur are carefully returned to you alongside your finished jewellery. Nothing that belongs to your loved one is discarded.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship to all countries by DHL Express, with a tracking link sent to you by email as soon as your parcel leaves our atelier. Your piece travels safely, insured, and with every care taken in its packaging.
About Our Jewellery
Is the memorial stone permanent?
Yes. The memorial stone or pearl is sealed within the setting during production and becomes a permanent part of the piece. The material inside will not degrade, discolour, or loosen over time. It is made to be worn and kept for a lifetime.
What chain lengths are available for necklaces?
Necklace chains are available in 41 cm, 45 cm, and 51 cm. Some pieces in solid gold are available in 41 cm and 45 cm. Your preferred length can be selected during the ordering process.
Can I order for a pet as well as a person?
Absolutely. We create memorial jewellery for beloved pets with the same care and respect we bring to every human memorial. Ashes, fur, and pawprints are all accepted. Your companion deserves to be remembered with the same tenderness.
Returns and Personalised Pieces
Can I return or exchange my piece?
Because every Keep Moments piece is made individually, with your own materials set inside, it cannot be returned or offered to another person. This is not a standard retail item. However, if there is a fault with the stone or the setting, please contact us and we will do everything we can to make it right. We stand behind the quality of our work.
What if my piece is damaged after I receive it?
Please contact us as soon as possible if you notice any issue. We assess each case individually and, where a fault is on our side, we will repair or replace the piece. Care instructions and a soft polishing cloth are included with every order to help you keep your jewellery in the best condition.
Care and Maintenance
How do I care for my jewellery?
Keep your piece away from perfume, hairspray, cleaning products, and prolonged contact with water. Remove it before swimming, bathing, or exercising. Polish gently with the soft cloth provided and store it in the jewellery box when not worn. Treated with this care, your piece will remain as beautiful as the day it arrived.
Can I clean the piece at home?
A gentle wipe with the soft cloth included in your order is all that is needed for everyday care. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners, abrasive cloths, and chemical silver dips, as these can damage the surface and the setting. If your piece needs deeper care, please contact us before attempting any cleaning at home.
