VAT
The seller of every order is KEEP MOMENTS LTD, and KEEP MOMENTS LTD is not registered for VAT. No UK VAT is charged to the customer. Every invoice or receipt for an order is issued by KEEP MOMENTS LTD and carries no VAT: there is no VAT line and no VAT amount shown, and the customer is never charged VAT.
Our pieces are bespoke memorial items made to order from material that each customer consigns to us (for example ashes, hair, or breast milk). Each piece is an individually made one-off, a unique, one-of-a-kind object (1/1) made to that specific customer's specification from their own consigned material. This combination - a bespoke product, made from the customer's consigned material, with each piece a unique 1/1 - is the basis on which no VAT applies.
The prices shown are the final price payable in GBP (net equals gross); no VAT is added or shown. Where any import duties or taxes apply to cross-border deliveries, these are indicated at checkout or borne in line with the applicable rules. A plain stock accessory sold on its own, with no consigned material and no personalisation (for example an extra chain), is a standard good, and no blanket VAT exemption is claimed for it.
Complaints and dispute resolution

If a complaint cannot be settled between us, you may be able to refer the matter to a competent alternative dispute resolution (ADR) entity under the Alternative Dispute Resolution for Consumer Disputes (Competent Authorities and Information) Regulations 2015. We are not obliged to use, and have not agreed in advance to use, ADR for consumer disputes. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
Governing law
This shop and our contracts with consumers are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without depriving you of the mandatory consumer protections available to you under the law of the country where you habitually reside.
